izložbe "Tri pisma – tri jezika" sažimlje jednu od bitnih odrednica
hrvatske kulture u njezinu tisućgodišnjem tijeku: pisalo se na tri pisma (najstarijim
slavenskim pismom uopće – glagoljicom, te hrvatskom ćirilicom i latinicom) i
tri temeljna jezika (crkvenoslavenskim hrvatske redakcije, hrvatskim i latinskim).
Na mnogim spomenicima koji se prvi put u ovakvu slijedu i broju izlažu izvan
Hrvatske, ova se pisma i jezici prožimlju i isprepleću, upozoravajući na obilježje
kulture naše pisane riječi i, posebno, njezine stalne, neprekinute sveze s drugim
europskim kulturama. (...) Zajedničko nam je zapadno kršćanstvo bilo okvirom
i podlogom istoga kulturnog kruga i duhovnog obzora. (...) Tek zajedničku kulturnu
prošlost nedostatno poznajemo. (...) – S. Lipovčan
(...) The name of the exhibition, "Three Scripts
– Three Languages", compresses one of the fundamental references of Croatian
culture and its thousand-year-old passage: documents were written in the three
alphabets (the oldest existing Slavic script: Glagolitic, as well as Croatian
Cyryllic and Latin script) and the three languages (Ecclesiastic Slavic of Croatian
redaction, Croatian and Latin). Many of the exhibited monuments are shown for
the first time in such sequence and numbers outside of Croatia, for such alphabets
and languages are permeated and imbued, indicating the character of our written
word, and, especially, its constant, uninterrupted connection with other European
cultures. (...) Our common western Cristianism was a frame and a basis of the
same cultural circle and cultural atmosphere. (...) The only thing is that we

svake izložbe pripremljena je publikacija u kojoj, uz opsežan kataloški dio
(fotografije u boji i stručni opis izložaka), donosi i stručne studije o pojedinim
segmentima izložbe.
On the occasion of the each exhibition there are publication
printed, which, apart from its extensive catalogue part including coloured photos
and descriptions of exhibits, also offers expert studies abouth the exhibition
specific segments.
